Bharatpur bird sanctuary is the prime destination of viewing the various species of birds. Bharatpur or Keoladeo Ghana National Park is located in between the two major cities of Agra and Jaipur. This park is the hub for almost 377 species of birds including water birds, migratory water birds, land migratory birds and domestic land species. The chief attraction of this park is the Siberian Crane which comes here in the month of December.

The next probable location for the bird lovers could be Corbett national park located in Uttaranchal. This place is also known for its tiger reserve. This reserve also has the presence of almost 585 birds that are residents along with the migratory ones.

Animal lovers


There are various places for the animal lovers especially tigers in north India. Few of them are like Ranthambore National Park, Corbett National Park, Kanha National Park and Sariska Tiger Reserve known to be the tiger's residence. These reserves have the large population of tigers and various other carnivores and herbivores animals. Over here one can rendezvous and can listen the roar of this majestic beast. These reserves are the habitat of various other species of animals coupled with the rare insectivorous plant Drocera peltata.

Moving from wildlife the next destination are the cultural hub of Rajasthan. Rajasthan is said to be the place for kings and princes and their magnificent forts and palaces. Rajasthan has various cultural places like Jaipur. This Pink City is amazingly set amidst rugged hills and is sprinkled with ancient ruined fortresses with the impressive City of Palaces. Amber Fort is the prime attraction of this city teemed up with the Hawa Mahal and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory. Jaisalmer is the land of splendid havelis with each richly decorated and carved from golden yellow sandstone. Patwon-ki-haveli and Nathmalji-ki-haveli are the two famous and marvelous havelis of Jaisalmer built in the late 19th century. Gajner is the city enriched with Rajputana history dating from the 15th century. Junagarh Fort built by Raja Jai Singh is the chief attraction of this ancient city along with the Gajner Palace built by Maharaja Ganga Singhji. The Gajner Palace is surrounded by forest and is the home for various wildlife species.
