Connaught Place is situated in the heart of the city. You can find here a range of goods from clothes to leather goods to designer items to beautiful antiques. CP also has Palika Bazaar, which is an underground market. You can also shop for export quality goods at Janpath. However, for those who want to shop for designer labels and designer wear, the best markets are at Greater Kailash, South Extension and Green Park, having a wide range of international as well as Indian designer brands and labels. Go out for shopping in a mall at the Ansal plaza in an air-conditioned environment. The mall has a line-up of branded stores like Nike, Reebok, etc. At Ansals you could shop for trendy jewellery, clothes, trinkets etc. The other famous markets in Delhi are Lajpat Nagar, Karol Bagh and Rajouri Garden.

For a very unique shopping experience you can go to Dilli Haat and Hauz Khas Village. Dilli Haat is designed in the form of a traditional village market with open-air market. The avenues of the Haat are lined up with the stalls of artisans and craftsmen throughout the country. The place also has food stalls of various states serving authentic food. You can buy here a range of handicrafts, jewellery, clothes, and artifacts. The Hauz Khas Village is even a step further with its perfect rural ambience with charpoys or cots in place where men can smoke hookah the way village men used to.
