You will find many malls in Delhi. The entire scape of Delhi is now dotted with malls or huge departmental stores. You can visit the Ansal Plaza in south Delhi. Go out for shopping in any of the malls at Gurgaon or Noida. Both these places are home to many malls. Delhi now has a café culture of its own. You can also visit the beautifully designed markets of Dilli Haat and Hauz Khas Village.
Economic Importance of Delhi
Most of the major banks, advertising agencies, MNCs and media houses have their offices in Delhi. The suburbs of Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida are also important scenes of business. The businesses thriving there are the call center and BPO industries. These regions are Delhi's answer to Bangalore, the IT hub of India.
